2025 annual Bias Methods Group meeting(s)

Please save the date(s) for this year's annual Bias Methods Group meeting(s). We have planned two virtual meetings to accommodate different time zones. The meetings will have somewhat different programs, but material from both meetings will be made available at the Bias Methods group website.

Meeting 1 on Tuesday, 21 October at 4 pm CEST (check your time zone). Join through this link. At the meeting, A/Prof Yin Wang, the lead author of the new risk of bias tool, ROBUST-RCT, will present the tool. Some remarks from Prof Jonathan Sterne will be followed by a general discussion.

Meeting 2 on Wednesday, 22 October at 9 am CEST (check your time zone). Join through this link. At the meeting, convenors and members of the Bias Methods Group will present findings from recent methodological research.

Please join us for updates on important methodological developments and interesting discussions.

Please do not forget our call for abstracts

Are you involved in any research projects that are of interest to the Bias Methods Group? If so, we would like to invite to submit your work for potential presentation at the annual Bias Methods Group meeting. If you would like to present, please submit a 350-word abstract to cochranemethodsbias@gmail.com by August 11 at 12 pm CEST. Please include an abstract title as well as full name and affiliation of the presenter in the submission.

If accepted for presentation, you will present you work at the annual Bias Methods Group meeting that will be held online on Wednesday, 22 October at 9 am CEST (check your time zone). We anticipate that the presentations will be 12 minutes in length, followed by 3 minutes for discussion.

Abstract notifications will be sent by September 19.
