The BMG Study Registry is a registry for all empirical studies of clinical research methods. The registry welcomes empirical studies of all study designs that investigate aspects of research methods. Examples of such studies include: meta-epidemiological studies comparing the effect estimates of subgroups of trials, cross-sectional studies, and systematic reviews summarising the effect from a specific study characteristic.

The registry accepts projects at title and pre-protocol stages and at protocol stages. Any submission require a title and an abstract following a fixed format (for more information see here). If you wish to register a title and an abstract for your study, please note that you must submit a protocol within 6 months of registration.

It is a requirement that the study investigate biases or methodological aspects in empirical studies. Please also not that the following requirements apply:

• The submission must be written in English;
• The registry is prospective and already completed studies will not be accepted.
