We are pleased to announce some recent updates to the Cochrane Handbook of Systematic Reviews of Interventions (version 6).

Overviews of Reviews chapter now available

Authors Michelle Pollock, Ricardo M Fernandes, Lorne A Becker, Dawid Pieper and Lisa Hartling, with the Handbook Editors, have released Chapter V: Overviews of Reviews, included in Part 1 of the Handbook which is dedicated to guidance about Cochrane Reviews. 

Supplementary materials available via the online Handbook

Two new supplementary materials associated with Chapter 4: Searching for and selecting studies have been embedded within the online version:

• 4.S1 Technical Supplement to Chapter 4 – provides in-depth guidance on searching for and selecting studies for a Cochrane Review.
• 4.S2 Appendix of resources – a comprehensive appendix of resources to use when searching for and selecting studies for a Cochrane Review.
