In the spotlight: Qualitative and Implementation Methods Group

Posted on 18 November 2021 by Ella Flemyng (Methods Implementation Manager)

We are celebrating the achievements of Cochrane’s Methods Groups from the last year. Today we are putting Qualitative and Implementation Methods Group in the spotlight.

The Qualitative and Implementation Methods Group focuses on methods and processes involved in the synthesis of qualitative evidence and the integration of qualitative evidence with Cochrane intervention reviews of effects. The Group's purpose is to advise Cochrane and its network of people on policy and practice and qualitative evidence synthesis, develop and maintain methodological guidance, and provide training to those undertaking Cochrane reviews. From 2012 the mandate was extended to include methods for undertaking systematic reviews of implementation.
