Cochrane GRADE workshop with two streams: Assessing confidence in evidence of effectiveness (GRADE) and in evidence from reviews of qualitative research (GRADE-CERQual)

A successful training event led by Holger Schunemann and Claire Glenton provided up to date information on applying GRADE to both effectiveness reviews and reviews synthesizing qualitative research and covered joint principles. Forty-five participants from Iran, Syria, Malaysia, India, Australia, Canada, US and Europe attended this event in Modena, Italy and we are grateful to our hosts at Cochrane Italy Centre for supporting this event and in particular, Centre director Roberto D’Amico.
