How we work
We have set up the following working groups:
- a Management Working Group, which coordinates the work of our group;
- a Research Working Group, which aims to conduct and support research projects focussed on co-production of evidence syntheses (see below for details of projects); and
- a Communication Working Group, which aims to raise awareness of:
- the work conducted by the Research Working Group; and
- other research on co-production in evidence syntheses.
- the work conducted by the Research Working Group; and
Research projects
Prioritisation project: The first goal of the Co-production Methods Group is to conduct a project to determine the shared top priorities for research relating to co-production of evidence syntheses. Work on this is ongoing, and due to complete by January 2025.
MuSE: We collaborate with the international MuSE Consortium. Members of our group are involved in leading a project focussed on engagement in healthcare systematic reviews. The goal of this project is to develop guidance relating to conduct and reporting of engagement in evidence syntheses.
EQUIPS: Members of our group are seeking funding to support a project focussed on exploring the equality, diversity and inclusion of the people who are engaged in evidence synthesis.
New project ideas
Our members have a wealth of experience and knowledge relating to methods of co-production. If you have a project that you would like to discuss with our group, we would love to hear from you. Depending on your project idea, we may be able to provide feedback or some of our members may be able to work collaboratively with you to develop this further. Please contact Alex.TodhunterBrown@gcu.ac.uk if you have ideas you would like to discuss.
