We are celebrating the achievements of Cochrane’s Methods Groups from the last year. Today we are putting Comparing Multiple Interventions Methods Group in the spotlight.
The Comparing Multiple Interventions Methods Group covers methodology of network meta-analysis (NMA), and overviews of reviews. NMA, in the context of a systematic review, compares three or more interventions simultaneously using both direct evidence within studies and indirect evidence across studies. Overviews of reviews use explicit and systematic methods to search for and identify multiple systematic reviews on a similar topic for the purpose of extracting and analyzing their results across important outcomes.
