Reporting guidelines

EQUATOR Network

Assessing risk of bias in included studies is challenging when study authors have not reported clearly what they did and what they found. We encourage authors of studies to consult relevant reporting guidelines when writing up their research for dissemination. The EQUATOR (Enhancing the QUAlity and Transparency Of health Research) Network is an international initiative promoting transparent and accurate reporting of research and wider use of reporting guidelines. The Network has a wide range of reporting guidelines targeted for various study designs.
