Reducing inequitable differences in health outcomes in the treatment of arthritis
New project funded!
The objective of this project is to develop a minimum of 20 equity-focused evidence summaries on effective interventions for treating osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis to increase the use of highquality evidence in decision-making.
Specific Objectives:
- Identify and prioritize existing, high quality systematic reviews of effective interventions for osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis
- Retrieve the primary studies included within the identified and prioritized systematic reviews
- Extract data related to inequitable differences in health outcomes from the reviews and each primary study
- Assess and synthesize the evidence related to inequitable differences in health outcomes.
- Develop equity-focused summaries of effective interventions for rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis
