A 3-day course for authors of systematic reviews and meta-analysis of diagnostic test accuracy was held at Birmingham University in July 2015. The course was organised jointly by faculty from the University of Birmingham and the University of Amsterdam.

A 4-day Evidence-based Clinical Practice workshop was held from 8th to 11th October 2014 at Palazzo Feltrinelli, Gargnano, Lago di Garda, Italy
Systematic reviews and meta-analyses of diagnostic test accuracy
University of Birmingham, 3rd to 5th September 2014
This three-day course was organised jointly by faculty from the University of Birmingham and the University of Amsterdam. The course is designed for individuals undertaking health technology assessment, health service researchers and healthcare professionals interested in understanding key issues in the design and conduct of systematic reviews and meta-analyses of diagnostic test accuracy studies. The course will be delivered through a mixture of interactive presentations, discussions and hands-on computer exercises.

Video slidecast presentations were recorded at a two-day workshop hosted by the Dutch Cochrane Centre, which took place at the Academic Medical Center, Amsterdam.
The workshop covers the main methodological challenges of preparing reviews of diagnostic test accuracy. Sessions address the basic statistical methods for meta-analysis and also explain the logistics of preparing DTA reviews within the Cochrane Collaboration.
